UPMEF, modernization project with an energy focus!
Within the framework of the UPMEF project, a number of municipal properties in Eskilstuna have been equipped with the main aim of saving energy but with a clear focus on the whole, where soft parameters such as well-being, well-being, safety and security were also included in the work. The initiative aims to contribute to the fulfillment of Eskilstuna's climate goals, but also to raise the standard of the indoor climate and thereby achieve satisfied and well-being of staff, users and customers.
UPMEF 1 ran from 2016-2019 with an estimated energy saving of at least 3,368,100 kwh/year, which corresponds to the annual energy consumption of around 134 average villas and estimated cost savings thanks to the project of at least SEK 2,300,000 per year.
Now K-fast has started UPMEF 2 where a further number of municipal properties are to be equipped and energy efficient. The properties in Väster that have been upgraded or are planned to be upgraded within the framework of UPMEF are:
