Energy Storage Evolution
The Energy Evolution Center is now implementing the focus project Energy Storage Evolution, which deals with energy storage. The aim is to increase growth and reduce energy use for companies in Eskilstuna and Eastern Central Sweden. It is a knowledge project where the participants learn more in the field of energy storage. The project is broad and includes both the storage of electricity and heat in various forms. We conduct conferences, seminars, study visits and work to form a business network that will hopefully result in a cluster.
Conference on Energy Storage 2024
In 2024, the project has conducted a conference on the theme of energy storage in collaboration with the Swedish Energy Associations National Organization (SERO) where, among other things, The Södermanland and Västmanland Uppland energy associations are members.

Effect optimization Eskilstuna
Energy Evolution Center previously carried out the project "Efficiency Optimization Eskilstuna", which was a collaborative project between Eskilstuna Municipality, Eskilstuna Energy and Environment, SEVAB, Eskilstuna Logistics and Establishment and Mälardalen University. The project started in autumn 2020 and aims to free up electricity network capacity to enable increased energy use and more establishments in Eskilstuna. The project was completed in the spring of 2022, here can you read the final PM.
